Want a tasty protein drink after you’ve finished with your workout? I have one for you!
I’ve made homemade chai tea before so I figured throwing in some vanilla protein powder would make it a tasty power drink. I’m sure people have their own way of making chai tea but here’s mine:
2 Chai Spice tea bags steeped in 1/2 cup of hot water (10 to 15 minutes; depending on how strong you like your drink)
1/2 cup of milk (soy, almond, or whatever type of milk you like)
Ice (4 to 6 cubes)
1 to 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
BLEND THESE INGREDIENTS FOR A MINUTE SO YOUR DRINK WILL BE SMOOTH. IF NOT BLENDED PROPERLY, YOUR DRINK WILL BE GRAINY DUE TO THE PROTEIN POWDER.
And there you have it! You have a new, tasty protein drink!

If you want to get lean and toned, drink protein shakes as a meal replacement. Don’t eat any meat in addition to this. If you do, eat a small portion. You will find yourself gaining instead of losing.

If your workout is in the morning, eat a piece of fruit before you exercise. Then finish with a protein drink and small meal (oatmeal, fruit, eggs). These foods are perfect for a post workout.
